Heck, why would you use anything else. It's less than a third of the advertised price in stores locally.Works well for pies and quiches. Simple, affordable, and functional.
What fantastic results. The plate's fluted edge is especially nice to look at on the table, and the dish is extremely easy to clean. I have tried all kinds of pie plates but recently went back to this glass pie plate. The crust was unbeatable.
ugh. this pie plate seems to spill anytime you try to cut a piece out, its hard to clean and shatters easily.
It's deep and the edges are raised verses a traditional pie dish, this keeps the topping from falling off when taking the pie to the oven. I have 3 of them there are very handy espically around the holidays. I use this to make dutch apple pie. Easy to clean too, I rinse it out and pop it in the dishwasher.
